Salisbury Cathedral refectory reopens after glass roof replacement
New self-cleaning nano technology panels have been installed
Salisbury Cathedral's refectory and shop has reopened after having the glass roof replaced.
The new panels feature new self-cleaning nano technology, with the inner glass having a special coating which will boost thermal efficiency.
It will allow visitors to see the Cathedral Spire clearly from the café.
The facilities are now open to visitors once more after a pop-up refectory was placed in the South Transept.
