Cat killed in suspected catapult attack
The animal was found with a wound in its side
An investigation is underway into the killing of a cat in Salisbury with what is thought to have been a catapult.
The animal's body was discovered near Bemerton Heath Harlequins in Western Way on Wednesday evening.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "The incident is thought to have occurred sometime between 7.00pm on 7 May and 4.00pm on 8 May near to the location where the cat was found.
"Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
