Salisbury care home receives a Good rating in latest inspection

Inspectors highlight dedicated staff and positive experiences at Bradbury House

A care home in Bradbury House has been awarded a Good rating across all areas following a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The assessment, carried out between 6th October and 16th October 2025, praised staff dedication and the positive experiences of residents and their families.

Right Support and Right Care

CQC inspectors found that residents were kept safe and supported by well-trained staff who understand their needs.

The care home has also made thoughtful adaptations to improve accessibility.

Support plans at the home are tailored to meet individual needs, according to the report.

Family members described the staff as caring, respectful, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

The collaborative approach to planning and delivering support was also praised by professionals.

Right Culture

The inspection highlighted the confidence and value felt by residents and their families, who said they felt listened to.

The report also acknowledged the work of a strong management team in fostering continuous improvement and a welcoming environment for both staff and residents.

Relatives shared positive experiences of the care provided, with one saying: “She can’t wait, she counts it down and marks it on her calendar.”

Another added: “It’s a lovely building and a lovely atmosphere. They work very hard. They’re a good bunch.”
