The popular car boot sales return today (18th April) giving locals the chance to sell unwanted items that have been piling up during lock down.

The event will take place every third Sunday of the month until 21st November.

The car boot is open to sellers from 7am and to buyers from 9am until 12 noon with social distancing measures in place.

It costs £5 per car on the day for sellers and £10 for vans or cars with trailers.

Salisbury City Council say there's no need to book " just turn up on the day to be allocated your spot on Salisbury Market Place."
