Two weeks after taking their first look around Salisbury Cathedral, three camels are returning this afternoon (Friday 24th December) for a family service.

Timujin, Lena and Ivan are back to celebrate Christmas Eve.

The animals had a little rehearsal earlier this month, mainly to see if they could fit through the doorways!

They were provided by Lady Chichester, who looks after the animals in Little Durnford.

The service gets underway at 3:30pm, with tickets already being sold out.

During the actual service, the puppets, camels and donkey will make their way up and down the Cathedral aisles and the nave, creatively re-imagining the story of the Nativity for the children.

There will be a wooden nativity scene which children will be able to sit on.
