Fire in Bulford treated as suspected arson

Police are investigating a blaze at Bulford Camp

A temporary cabin next to a Bulford convenience store has been damaged by fire.

The incident, which happened in the car park of Cost Cutters in Bulford Camp last Wednesday night (23rd February), is now being investigated as a suspected arson.

Police tell us a number of people were seen running from the scene at around 8.45pm that night.

They're asking anyone with information to come forward.

PC Jody Kinge said:

“I would like to underline the seriousness of this incident. Setting fires not only destroys property, it can easily lead to someone being killed or badly hurt.

“I would strongly advise that those who are responsible should do the right thing and turn yourselves in.

“If anyone has information about who might be behind this dangerous and reckless act please let us know - you might prevent something like this happening again.”
