Boscombe Down Sports Field closed to the public
The MOD says it's been shut off with 'deep regret'.
The sports field, off Stockport Road in Amesbury, is being closed with immediate effect.
It's because the field has been 'littered with broken glass', with anti-social behaviour and vandalism becoming 'more frequent in recent months'.
A post on the MOD Boscombe Down Facebook page says there's been a number of clean-ups in the area to try and keep the area open, but the decision to close it has now been made.
All of the entrances to the area are being fenced off.
