Booking system for grounds of Wilton House to be scrapped

From next week it'll be easier to visit the popular adventure playground

Wilton House reopened in May with access to the much loved playground allowed by the the end of the month so long as families pre booked a slot.

That system will no longer be in place from Monday ( June 28th) making it easier for spur of the moment visits!

However those wishing to tour the stately home will still need to book a slot with that system continuing " for the foreseeable future."

Meanwhile in another step back to normality the gift shop has also reopened.

However the classic car exhibition and film exhibtion will remain closed.

OPENING TIMES FOR GROUNDS AND PLAYGROUND

The Grounds will be open Sunday to Thursday until the 5th September from 11am to 530pm

As is tradition the Saturday on the August Bank Holiday ( 28th August) will also see visitors

FILMING

Wilton House has been used as a location for a number of popular films and TV series including Bridgerton, The Crown and the 2019 version of Emma.
