Blue van linked to thefts in Mere
Appeal for information after incident at fish and chip shop
Wiltshire Police are investigating a theft from a fish and chip shop in Mere.
It happened on Thursday 4 February, but Police have only just released details.
It's believed that at around 2.00pm on Feb 4th 2021 suspects attempted to steal barrels of used oil from the back of Mere Fish & Chips.
SUSPECT TRANSIT VAN
It seems the thieves were disturbed and escaped without actully stealing any oil.
A blue Ford Transit van is believed to be connected with this, and similar incidents at The Walnut Tree pub in Mere and The White Hart Pub in Corsley.
