Salisbury's Blue Boar Row will be closed overnight for the next three days, and shut all day at the end of the week.

From today (Wednesday 24th February) until Friday (26th) from 7pm until 6am, the road will be closed.

On the 27th it will be shut for 24 hours.

This is so Wiltshire Council can carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

The local authority have put a diversion route in place, telling drivers to use the following roads instead:

  • Castle Street - Scots Lane - Bedwin Street - Rollestone Street
  • Bus services will be affected by the closures, there's a full list of how the timetable is changing on the Salisbury Reds website.
