Four bikes, with a total worth around £10,000, have been stolen from a home in Lover.

Some point overnight between Sunday (31st January) and Monday (1st February) unknown offenders broke into a garage on School Road.

They then took four high end, specialised bikes that were chained to floor anchors.

Police have got pictures of three of them, the last one was a grey, red and white Cervelo men's road bike:

The heavy duty electric garage door was also damaged during the incident.

The victims told Greatest Hits Radio:

"We are devastated to have our family bikes stolen from a secure garage - and what made it worse was that it was our son's birthday and they stole his beloved Cervelo road bike along with 3 other bikes”.

Police are now hoping the public can help with their investigations.

If anyone witnessed or heard anything suspicious in the area at that time, or recognises the bikes, they should call police on 101 and quote crime reference number 54210009891.
