Wiltshire Police tell us two teenage boys were riding along Netherhampton Road towards the White Horse Inn in Quidhampton between 1.30 and 1.45pm on Monday (31st August).

It's believed a dark coloured Ford Fiesta then started following the boys, with those inside shouting abuse at the boys.

When the teenagers reached the White Horse, they left their bikes and ran away 'out of fear of violence'.

When they returned, one of the bikes (pictured above) was missing.

Police believe the vehicle was being driven by a white male, with a female passenger in the front seat.

Officers are now asking anyone with information about what happened to come forward.

They're particularly keen to hear from anyone who might have dash-cam footage from the area, or who might have seen the bike for sale on social media platforms.

If you can help, you're asked to call 101, quoting crime reference number 54200087314.
