The Berwick St John Country Fayre is back this weekend (Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September), in support of Salisbury District Hospital's charity.

The event is held every other year, with the Stars Appeal benefitting from the two days of activities.

It's a chance to bring together all things country and agriculture, with community stalls, live music, vintage vehicles and more.

Last time around the Fayre raised £31,000 for the Stars Appeal.

Events to honour the Queen's death

The Fayre's Directors say they wanted to go ahead with the event following Her Majesty's passing, having passed on their 'heartfelt condolences' to the Royal Family.

They've said flags on the site will be flown at half mast, with a two minutes silence held at midday on both Saturday and Sunday.

An open air church service is also planned on the Fayre ground, led by the Archdeacon of Sarum.

That'll be held outside the tea tent, at 11.00am on Sunday (18th September).

A donation will also be made to one of the Queen's charities following the Berwick St John Country Fayre.

Events will be held on site to mark the Queen's passing and the national period of mourning
