Ball bearings have been fired at properties in Redlynch, with police asking for any dashcam or CCTV footage to help with enquiries.

Glass has been smashed in the incidents in recent weeks.

Police tell us they've been called to Castle Woods at around 6.00pm on September 22th, and the Vale Road area at around 5.00pm on October 19th.

It's not known exactly how the objects were fired, but it's believed to have been from an air weapon or catapult.

There's currently a Public Spaces Protection Order in place for Downton and Redlynch, preventing the use of catapults.

Anyone found to be breaching that order could be fined £100, as well as a possible criminal damage prosecution.

Officers are asking anyone with information, or footage that could help with investigations, to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 54230111647.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
