'Lock it, or lose it' say Amesbury Police as vehicle break ins rise

We're also told to store valuables out of sight

Police in Amesbury are warning residents not to leave valuables in their cars and to ensure their vehicles are locked.

Officers have noted a rise in reports of vehicle interference.

The majority are attempted break-ins to parked cars, which are causing criminal damage.

People living in the Amesbury area are urged to be vigilant and to not leave anything that could be considered of value in sight.

Any suspicious activity should be reported to the police.
