Attempted rape arrest in Stratford sub Castle

A man's been arrested on suspicion at attempted rape following a reported incident in Stratford sub Castle.
Wiltshire Police were called out just after 11.00am today (Thursday 1st June) to Mill Lane.
A teenage girl reported an assault.
The man arrested is also being questioned on suspicion of possessing a bladed article in a public place.
A number of emergency service vehicles went to the scene and the police helicopter was also called out to assist.
There's now an appeal for any witnesses to the incident to get in touch with officers on 101, quoting log number 110 of today (1st June).
