Police appeal for information as five Chippenham ATM's vandalised

Officers say they don't think anything was taken from the machines

Police in Chippenham are investigating criminal damage to five ATM's across the town centre.

ATM's at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Halifax, NatWest, and Nationwide were all targeted between 1am and 4am on February 27, with police saying they don't think anything was taken during the incidents.

Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses as they follow up enquiries with CCTV camera operators and local businesses.

They want to speak to anyone who may have seen a someone carrying a hammer, mallet, or brick around the town centre around those times.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious, or has information that could help police investigations, is told to call 101, quoting reference number 54250024751.
