We'll get another chance to put our questions and concerns directly to the man at the helm of Wiltshire Council soon.

The authority's holding another of its 'Ask the Leader' events - this time at Alderbury Village Hall on September 26th, between 6.00 and 7.30pm.

The Q&As are being held in its community area of the county, with the aim of making them as accessible as possible.

A previous event at Salisbury's Bourne Hill only saw one person attend to ask a question.

Cllr Richard Clewer, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said:

“Thank you to everyone who has come along to an Ask the Leader event so far this year. It’s been really valuable to hear more about key local issues and discuss possible solutions.

“The next event takes place in Southern Wiltshire on 26th September and I would encourage residents to come along and ask me any questions and find out more about the work we are doing.

“These events are a great way to ensure our priorities reflect those of local communities. If you can’t make the event but would still like to ask a question, you can submit it in advance to communications@wiltshire.gov.uk
