Arrests made following break-in at Marwell Zoo
Hampshire Police were told intruders were throwing things at the animals

Hampshire Police were called to Marwell Zoo near Winchester last night, following reports people had broken in and were throwing things at the animals.
Three men - all from Gosport - were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
A woman is also in police custody.
In a post on Twitter, Gosport Police said:
A Police ARV unit, a Police Dog and a Helicopter responded last night to intruders in Marwell Zoo throwing things at the animals.
The Marwell Cheetahs weren't too keen on the Police Dog!
A Marwell Zoo spokesperson, said:
“We are deeply saddened by an incident at the zoo last night and we are today assisting police with their enquiries.
We’d like to reassure our supporters that all our animals are safe and our expert teams are on site caring for them to the highest standard.”
