Wiltshire Police is appealing for dash cam footage or witnesses after a serious collision on the A30 near Salisbury.

The crash at the Pitton turning yesterday (Thursday 15th September) left a man in his 40s in a critical condition in hospital.

At approximately 11.30am, a BMW and a Mercedes travelling in opposite directions collided.

The driver of the BMW, a man in his 40s from London, sustained significant injuries and was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital. He remains in a critical condition.

There were two other people in the vehicle at the time, but they were not injured.

The driver of the Mercedes was also not injured.
