Police in Alderbury have been dealing with increased anti-social behaviour on the Rec.

On Monday evening alone (13th May), officers were called out to find a fire had been started in a bin in a wooded area.

Broken glass was also discovered on the children's play equipment.

That was all picked up by officers, to prevent injuries to young people using the playground - and the fire was fully extinguished safely.

Three youths seen near the area have been spoken to by police.

In a post on social media, they've said:

"We would like to appeal to the community to report any incidents witnessed to get in touch via 999 or 101 as appropriate to help identify any culprits and prevent any future escalation of such behaviours that affect the whole community."
