Thieves got in through the ceiling of the Captain's Restaurant

Wiltshire Police say staff at the Earls Court Road restaurant locked up for the night at 10.00pm on Monday (30th November).

When they arrived back at 11.30am yesterday morning (1st December), they noticed a hole in the ceiling of the kitchenette.

£60 in cash had been taken from the till along with some bottles of wine.

Police are now investigating and are asking anyone who saw suspiciously activity near the Amesbury restaurant overnight on Monday, to get in touch with them.
