A man from Amesbury's been given an additional driving ban, after being caught driving whilst disqualified.

50 year old Nicholas Farion from Sandell Place was arrested in Trowbridge in May.

He passed a Roads Policing officer in a marked vehicle, and initially gave false details.

Farion later admitted he was already banned from driving - and didn't have insurance.

He's now been sentenced at Salisbury Magistrates Court.

A 42 month ban and an 18 month community order have been handed to him, as well as being ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
