Amesbury man charged with public order offence

This follows an incident where a bus driver was racially and verbally abused.

Wiltshire Police put out a CCTV appeal in connection with the incident on the Activ8 bus between Amesbury and Salisbury on 7th June.

The driver was subjected to racial and verbal abuse by a passenger.

A suspect was identified by officers, and they were invited in for interview.

Officers have now confirmed that 30 year old Tyler Morgan, from Shears Drive in Amesbury, has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence.

He's been summonsed to court.
