A man's been arrested in Amesbury on suspicion of driving under the influence of Class B drug.

The 35 year old was stopped in Moyne Gardens, off Butterfield Drive, at around 9.00am this morning (Wednesday 11th January).

He came to the attention of police after the windscreen of his van was so steamed up that visibility was near impossible.

A drugs wipe was failed, and he was taken into custody, where he remains.

The driver was on the school run and had two children in the vehicle at the time.

He's also been reported for careless driving, and for having no insurance.
