Amesbury Library is closed for planned building works, Wiltshire Council have told us.

Essential improvements are being made to the buildings lighting and toilets.

They're expected to be completed in time to re-open on Monday (13th November).

A second South Wiltshire library is also shut today (Tuesday 7th November).

The volunteer-led Ludgershall site has been unable to open as a volunteer could not be found to cover the day’s session.

Books on loan from Ludgershall that are due back on Wednesday (8th November) have been renewed for another week.
