Extra patrols in Amesbury following 'suspicious male loitering'
Officers are concerned about issues at Fosters Bushes
Extra patrols are being carried out by police in Amesbury, following reports of a man 'loitering' suspiciously.
There have also been issues with anti-social behaviour and drug use in the Fosters Bushes area in recent weeks.
We're told several people have been moved away from the area during patrols.
Officers have also taken down a recently constructed shelter to prevent people gathering there.
Amesbury Town Council's also agreed to carry out litter picks there twice a week, with the vegetation there trimmed back as well.
That means the entrance points are lighter and clearer, with street lights also cleared to make sure they focussed on the area properly.
