Drugs and cash seized in Amesbury raid

Police in Amesbury have raided a town centre residential property, following reports of drug activity there.

Neighbourhood Policing Teams, along with specialist officers and the dog unit, carried out a search warrant on Tuesday (12th March).

They've seized what's been described as a 'significant amount' of suspected Class A, B and C drugs.

A 'large quantity' of cash and drug paraphernalia was also found and seized.

Cash and equipment associated with drugs were seized from the Amesbury property, along with suspected Class A, B and C substances

A man was arrested at the scene.

Enquiries are still ongoing, led by the Wiltshire Police Volume Crime Team.
