Three dogs have been seized from a property in Amesbury with concerns over their welfare.

The dogs were taken in a joint operation on Monday (17th April) between Amesbury Neighbourhood officers and the RSPCA.

Wiltshire Police's dog unit was also brought in to help with the incident.

Police say an investigation with the RSPCA is “ongoing”, adding that assaults on animals or people will not be tolerated.

No arrests were made as part of the incident.
