An Amesbury man's been disqualified from driving and given a suspended prison sentence, after an off-duty police officer spotted him going at 90 mph and almost colliding with three other cars.

23 year old Henry Feltham-Bray from Parsonage Road, was seen speeding on the A338 at Winterbourne Gunner last August, and carrying out illegal overtakes across solid white lines.

He was also described as driving 'recklessly' through a village, crossing the single carriageway line, almost crashing into other vehicles and coming close to mounting a kerb where a pedestrian was walking.

Dash-cam footage from the incident has been shared by Wiltshire Police.

Feltham-Bray was charged with dangerous driving, and has appeared at Salisbury Magistrates.

He's been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months; disqualified from driving for 12 months and required to take an extended re-test.

He's also been ordered to pay a £154 victim surcharge, and £85 in court costs as well as 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement days.
