A closure order, granted for a house in Amesbury, has been extended for another three months.

Police and the housing association submitted an application for an address in Redworth Drive, Archers Gate, which has been granted by Salisbury Magistrates.

The order was initially secured in January following concerns over drug use and anti-social behaviour at the property.

Officers also had reports of people staying at the address, which breaches the closure order.

The extension lasts until 11th July 2024.

Until that date only certain people are allowed into the property:

  • the female tenant
  • any emergency services personnel
  • any employee/contractor from/acting on behalf of ABRI Housing Association

Wiltshire Police say they'll be carrying out regular checks there, to make sure the order's being adhered to.

Anyone found on the premises that breaches the order could be arrested.

Concerns about the use of the property can be reported by calling 999, quoting reference number 54230117013.
