The Aldi store in Amesbury re-opens today (Thursday 13th July) after a few days closed for renovations.

As part of £600 million worth of investment into improving its stores and services across the UK, alterations have been made to the 1,269sqm of retail space.

We're told the redesign is to 'make customers shopping easier' and make more space for larger and clear signage.

There's also a revamped "Food to Go" section, and freezers.

Fresh bread and cakes have been moved to the last aisle.

The store already employs 24 members of staff, with the refurbishment increasing job opportunities.

Store Manager Ollie Reeves said:

“The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.

"We’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and service they’re used to.”
