Comedian and 'Chatty Man' star Alan Carr was in Salisbury yesterday (Wednesday 21st July) filming for a TV show.

He posted a picture onto his Instagram account of him in front of the Cathedral.

Alan also posted some stories which suggested he was filming for the BBC show 'Interior Design Masters'.

In the comments of his post, he replied to the Experience Salisbury account calling the city "gorgeous".

Salisbury Mayor Caroline Corbin tweeted the TV presenter saying she wished they could have had tea together:

HIGH STREET SHOP TO REOPEN AFTER REFURB

Meanwhile, High Street Independent Casa Fina has been shut all this week.

They posted on Facebook saying they would be closed for five days for a big refurbishment.

They have now confirmed that they will be reopening again on Saturday morning (24th July) at 9:30am.

It's the shop's 38th year of opening and hope the upgrades will bring them into the 21st century but "keep the same feel".
