British Transport Police say they are working to reunite the belongings left on the two trains which crashed in Salisbury with their owners.
They're working with rail industry partners and going through passenger lists to try find the correct people.
After they were able to remove all the carriages from the railway, they got out all property left on board on Sunday evening (7th November).
In a statement, British Transport Police said:
“As the investigation was ongoing throughout the week, officers only retrieved property from the last carriage on Sunday evening. They will now be working closely alongside our partners in the rail industry to work through the passenger lists and reunite people with their belongings. We will be attempting to make contact with all passengers in due course but anyone who urgently requires property back can get in touch by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 477 of 31/10/21.”
Network Rail are continuing their repairs on the track, which remains closed.
It's still expected to be shut until at least Monday (15th November).
