Parkrun prides itself on inclusivity and have a go attitude and that was evident in Salisbury on Saturday when Arthur Rees, who's in his early 90s, took part.

Arthur completed the 5k route in Churchill Gardens earning himself a new course record there for the Veteran Men 90-94 category of 1:01:25.

Three generations of his family also participated in the free event.

Parkrun returned on the 26th of July after a 17 month break due to the Covid pandemic.

Last week 397 runners and walkers completed the new four loop course.

The event takes place every Saturday at 9am and if you've not been before you'll need to register before hand.
