There's a chance for a challenge of a lifetime in South Wiltshire later this year - and it's the first time ever it's been allowed!

The National Trust is allowing people to abseil down St Alfred's Tower at the Stourhead Estate near Mere.

The monument is 250 years old, stands at 160 feet tall, and you can get views across three counties from the top.

The charity abseils, over two weekends this September, will be in aid of SOS Africa.

That's a small charity that sponsors holistic education for disadvantaged South African children - and this will be their flagship fundraiser for the year.

Sign ups for the abseil are now open through the SOS Africa website.
