A36 reopens following collision near Codford

The A36 between Heytesbury and Deptford has now reopened following a collision near Codford overnight.

Police were called to the incident around 10.30pm on Monday (31st July), after a car collided with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, has been taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

No arrests have been made.
