From today (Monday 15th March) until Friday 9th April, the A354 between Harnham Junction and Coombe Bissett will be shut during the day.

It will be closed between 7am and 7pm each day, before reopening overnight.

This is so Wiltshire Council can carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

There is diversion route the local authority has put in place:

They have to state an official one using A roads, but people with good local knowledge will be able to cut through nearby villages.

Wiltshire Council say:

This Order will come into operation on 15th March 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 until 9th April 2021. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months."
