Police from Amesbury have stopped a driver on the A303, after they were spotted with a smashed in windscreen.

The car was pulled over yesterday morning (Monday 31st July) when officers noticed the damage.

The driver also didn't have insurance for the vehicle, or a valid UK driving licence.

They've been reported for three offences - driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.

A court date will now be set for them.

The vehicle itself was also seized at the roadside.
