The A303 has re-opened after an oil spill on Monday morning.

The road was closed shortly after 8am between the Deptford interchange and Winterbourne Stoke after a four-vehicle collision caused the spill.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service (DWFRS) were called to the scene shortly after 8am on this morning, with a crew from Salisbury attending the scene.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident which happened in the eastbound direction.

The fire crew ensured the vehicles and scene were safe, with their stop at 8:56am.

While the road is now reopened, National Highways say delays are still possible.
