Crash on A303 at Chicklade

The road has now been reopened

Three people have been taken to hospital following a serious collision on the A303 at Chicklade.

Wiltshire Police say two vehicles were involved in the crash at around 2.00pm today (Wednesday 8th February).

The two drivers involved, aged in their 70s and 80s, along with one passenger, aged in their 90s, needed hospital treatment.

It's not clear how serious those injuries are.

Dorset and Wiltshire fire crews, and paramedics were called to the scene as well.

The road has to be shut in both directions for around three hours while the incident was being dealt with.
