A303 reopens after Amesbury police incident
It was shut for a period of time earlier this afternoon (Monday 28th September).

Wiltshire Police have confirmed that the A303 between Amesbury Services and Countess Roundabout has now reopened.
It was closed in both directions as police dealt with an incident on the bridge there.
It caused long delays in the area, with drivers being asked to seek an alternative route.
Police confirmed they were dealing with a "mental health incident".
