Roadworks on two Salisbury roads to conclude next week
SGN have been carrying out work on the A30 and A360
Roadworks on the A30 and A360 should both be completed next week, according to SGN.
Currently both roads have two-way temporary traffic lights as gas works are carried out.
On the A360, planned works are being carried out in Devizes Road in order to connect a new property to the gas network, with the connection due to be completed by Monday 4th August.
And on London Road, the A30, SGN are carrying out gas mains upgrade work, which involves replacing old metallic pipe work with new plastic ones.
Waseem Hanif, spokesperson for gas company SGN, said the new pipes would ‘ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply for the local community.’
“We’re in the final phase of our project now, and all being well we’ll have completed our work by the end of next week.”
