12 year old boy arrested after Winchester Street robbery

It happened outside the city's McDonalds restaurant

A 12 year old boy has been arrested after a reported robbery outside McDonalds on Winchester Street in Salisbury.

It happened around 4pm on Monday afternoon (2/12) - when the victim was pinned against a pillar and had cash stolen from their pockets.

A spokesperson for Salisbury Police said:

"There were a lot of people in the area when this incident took place and we believe part of it may have been recorded on a mobile phone."

A 12-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident and he remains on bail pending further enquiries.
