Council are 'expecting' potholes in Wiltshire over winter

But they claim works carried out in the summer will help to protect road surfaces

An increase in potholes on Wiltshire's road is being expected by the Council, as we get towards the winter.

Last week alone, two hundred and sixty five were reported to the authority, with nearly a hundred and sixty filled.

They're blaming bad weather for the rise.

An extra ten million pounds has been allocated to sorting out road defects in Wiltshire in the next two years.
