A new mentoring project has been launched for young people across Rutland.

It aims to increase confidence, reduce anti-social behaviour and give a voice to young people.

Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, Rupert Matthews, is providing a grant of £9,900 from his Community Safety Fund to Streetvibe to deliver it.

In a video online, Mr Matthews said the grants have been awarded to "local groups, community organisations and charities".

Streetvibes has been running for 23 years, working with people between 8 and 25 years old.
