Police say no arrests have been made after an XL bully dog attacked another dog in Rutland.

A springer spaniel had to be put down as a result if its injuries - after the incident in Ketton on Monday morning.

The XL Bully was seized by police and has since been passed onto a secure, independent kennel.

It comes after the Prime Minister confirmed the breed will be banned earlier this week.
