A woman has died following a house fire in Peterborough which left a man dead.
The fire broke out at around 6am on Monday morning on Crabtree, Paston.
Firefighters rescued two people from the property and performed CPR alongside the ambulance service.
One man was declared dead at the scene and the woman taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
A thorough fire investigation, involving several officers and police investigators, has determined the cause of the fire was accidental.
