A fan clip taken during Stamford AFC's latest match has gone viral on social media, and now has over 1.5 million views on Twitter.

The footage captured the moment that the opposition keeper made an acrobatic save, after a ball from a corner was almost blown into the net by the heavy wind.

Despite keeper Brandon Ganley pulling off the save, Leicestershire side Shepshed Dynamo were beaten 2-0 by Stamford AFC, thanks to a brace from new signing Johnathon Margetts.

The footage, taken by Paul 'Wilber' Williams, has broken the record for most views recorded on a single clip taken at Stamford AFC's Zeeco Inc stadium, the club says.

Stamford AFC said on Twitter that there was a free beer behind the bar for Williams for capturing the viral moment.

He said he had a feeling that there was going to be a chance from a corner due to the windy conditions at the game, but the save was something worth catching on camera.

"I couldn't believe it, it was a brilliant, absolutely brilliant corner and it was in the back of the net, and the keeper just pulled off an exceptional save. It was an absolutely world-class save, it really was", Williams said.

"I just put it on twitter for one or two of the Stamford fans who like to keep an eye on what's going on, but it's just been retweeted and it's just literally blown up."

He added that there were similar moments happening at every game, and that more people should go to watch their local non-league team.

"Anybody thinking of going down to watch the Daniels, please go down. It's such a fantastic place to be and the standard of the football's absolutely brilliant, it really is. For a fraction of the price of what the Premiership is."
