They are due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today
Two men have been charged following the murder of 59-year-old Zbigniew Wasiak in Fletton.
35-year-old Michal Pluciennik, of no fixed abode, and 35-year-old Wojcieck Piaseczny, of Pilton Close, have both been remanded in custody.
They are due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 12 September.
A post-mortem carried out on Tuesday 10 September found Mr Wasiak died from a single stab wound to the neck.
Police were first called at around 3.35am on Saturday 7 September, after the fire service reported a blaze at a house in Wootton Avenue, Fletton.
Two other people, a 29-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man, both from Peterborough, had also been arrested on suspicion of murder.
They have since been released on bail and are due to return to Thorpe Wood police station in November and December.
